We’re a Brighton-based events company founded by two runners with over 20 years' combined experience in the running industry. Having spent our careers on the track, the roads, and behind the scenes at major races, we created Laine8 Events to deliver running events that we always wanted to be a part of; inclusive, inspiring, and rooted in community.

We're proud organisers of the Brighton Half Marathon — one of the South Coast’s largest and most loved running events. More than just a race, it’s a celebration of community spirit, achievement, and giving back. Every year, we welcome thousands of runners to the amazing Brighton seafront to raise vital funds for charities, and we’re honoured to help make that possible.
