At Laine8 Events, we’re passionate runners who bring over two decades of combined industry experience to every race we organise. Founded by two runners, our mission is to design events that go beyond competition — fostering inclusivity, inspiration, and a true sense of community with every mile. We don’t just host races; we create experiences that runners are proud to take part in.
Why We Do It
Running brings people together—and we believe that every event should reflect that spirit. Whether it’s raising money for a cause, achieving a personal best, or simply taking part, we design our events to be open, accessible, and supportive. We’re passionate about creating races that leave a lasting impression — on both the runners and the communities they run through.
What We Do
We organise high-quality, mass participation running events with a community-first mindset. Our flagship event, the Brighton Half Marathon, brings thousands of runners to the South Coast each year and raises vital funds for a range of charities. From large-scale races to smaller local events, our focus is on the runner experience, great atmosphere, and meaningful impact.
